Founded in Buffalo, New York in 2021, Upstate NY Black & Latino Pride (UNYBLP) works to highlight diversity to the forefront; through events, outreach, and programming, in addition to hosting the annual Buffalo Black & Latino Pride Week celebration. UNYBLP hosts year-round programs with the goal of celebrating, influencing, and preserving Black, Latino and LBGTQ+ arts, culture, and history in WNY. Since 2021, Upstate NY Black & Latino Pride has created events, many of which in collaboration with local community leaders and community-based organizations.
